चलत महाधुनि गर्जेसि भारी। गर्भ स्रवहिं सुनि निसिचर नारी॥ नाघि सिंधु एहि पारहि आवा। सबद किलिकिला कपिन्ह सुनावा॥1॥
चलते समय उन्होंने महाध्वनि से भारी गर्जन किया, जिसे सुनकर राक्षसों की स्त्रियों के गर्भ गिरने लगे। समुद्र लाँघकर वे इस पार आए और उन्होंने वानरों को किलकिला शब्द (हर्षध्वनि) सुनाया॥1॥
While walking, he roared with great sound, hearing which the women of the demons started losing their pregnancies. After crossing the sea, they came here and told the monkeys the sound of ‘Kilkila’ (happy sound)॥1॥
हरषे सब बिलोकि हनुमाना। नूतन जन्म कपिन्ह तब जाना॥ मुख प्रसन्न तन तेज बिराजा। कीन्हेसि रामचंद्र कर काजा॥2॥
हनुमान्जी को देखकर सब हर्षित हो गए और तब वानरों ने अपना नया जन्म समझा। हनुमान्जी का मुख प्रसन्न है और शरीर में तेज विराजमान है, (जिससे उन्होंने समझ लिया कि) ये श्री रामचंद्रजी का कार्य कर आए हैं॥2॥
Everyone became happy after seeing Hanumanji and then the monkeys understood their new birth. Hanumanji’s face is happy and his body is filled with radiance, (by which they understood that) he has done the work of Shri Ramchandraji.॥2॥
मिले सकल अति भए सुखारी। तलफत मीन पाव जिमि बारी॥ चले हरषि रघुनायक पासा। पूँछत कहत नवल इतिहासा॥3॥
सब हनुमान्जी से मिले और बहुत ही सुखी हुए, जैसे तड़पती हुई मछली को जल मिल गया हो। सब हर्षित होकर नए-नए इतिहास (वृत्तांत) पूछते- कहते हुए श्री रघुनाथजी के पास चले॥3॥
Everyone met Hanumanji and became very happy, as if a yearning fish had found water. Everyone was happy and went to Shri Raghunathji asking for new stories.॥3॥
तब मधुबन भीतर सब आए। अंगद संमत मधु फल खाए॥ रखवारे जब बरजन लागे। मुष्टि प्रहार हनत सब भागे॥4॥
तब सब लोग मधुवन के भीतर आए और अंगद की सम्मति से सबने मधुर फल (या मधु और फल) खाए। जब रखवाले बरजने लगे, तब घूँसों की मार मारते ही सब रखवाले भाग छूटे॥4॥
Then everyone came inside Madhuvan and with Angad’s consent everyone ate sweet fruits (or honey and fruits). When the guards started shouting, all the guards ran away as soon as they started punching.॥4॥
दोहा
जाइ पुकारे ते सब बन उजार जुबराज। सुनि सुग्रीव हरष कपि करि आए प्रभु काज॥28॥
उन सबने जाकर पुकारा कि युवराज अंगद वन उजाड़ रहे हैं। यह सुनकर सुग्रीव हर्षित हुए कि वानर प्रभु का कार्य कर आए हैं॥28॥
They all went and shouted that Prince Angad was destroying the forest. Sugriva was happy to hear that the monkeys had done the work of the Lord.॥28॥
